Activity Calendar
Exercise classes are held on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 10:30 to 11:00; and an equipped exercise room is available for use any time the Center is open. Also, for the convenience of seniors, the Memorial Health Care Systems provide yearly flu shots.

Monthly Menu
Noon meals are served five days per week, with the exception of holidays or when special activities are scheduled. Birthdays and anniversaries are celebrated each month with a special meal and program.

Seward Senior Shuttle
The Seward Senior Shuttle provides transportation for senior citizens of Seward who are age 60 or older and are ambulatory. Transportation is provided within the City Limits and two miles beyond. Reservations may be made by calling 402-643-3177 between 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. This service is provided through the Lied Senior Center and is funded entirely through contributions and donations from clientele, organizations and businesses without the use of tax funds. Riders are asked to donate at least $1 per trip.

The Senior Center of Milford provides services and activities for older adults (60+) in Seward County. The center offers low-cost nutritious meals five days per week. Reservations must be made one day in advance. On the second Thursday of each month, instead of the regular noon meal, brunch is served at 11:00 am, followed by BINGO at 11:30 am. Each Wednesday the center offers a hot dish and Salad Bar. One Wednesday each month is designated as Wellness Wednesday and features a speaker following the Salad Bar. The last Monday of the month a special noon meal with entertainment following, is scheduled to celebrate the Birthdays of that month. All are invited, but reservations must be made in advance.
A variety of recreational activities are offered daily, including crafts, card games, music, exercise classes and equipment. As well as day trips through Seward County Transit. If you have a talent you can share, please stop by!
The Milford Senior Shuttle operates between 9:00 am and 2:30 pm. You may use the shuttle for any stops around Milford, just contact the center, preferably the day before so we can have our drivers ready.
Many opportunities exist for volunteers to share their time and talents. Volunteers help by driving for the Senior Shuttle, picking meals up, preparing and serving meals, training people to use the exercise equipment, preparing for our fundraisers, teaching crafts and exercise classes to name a few.
The Center also offers regularly scheduled blood pressure screenings, blood sugar checks and foot care.
