Utica Community Care Center is a warm and welcoming inter-generational senior living community offering 24-hour skilled nursing care, adult day care, respite/short stays, and rehabilitation services – all in one comfortably furnished and beautifully landscaped facility where residents are empowered to be as independent as possible.

Our many services and amenities include restaurant-style dining, a full slate of social and recreational activities, regular outings, library, games room, wireless Internet, fitness and wellness programs, highly skilled 24-hour staff, in-house beauty salon/barber shop, transportation, and laundry and housekeeping.

Our senior living community provides easy access to great dining options, shopping areas, and cultural attractions. Utica has a public swimming pool and is located near two larger water parks. There are three public parks with scenic walking trails. Lakes offering boating, fishing, swimming, and camping areas are a short drive away.

Welcome to the Volzke Funeral Home website. In 1972, Deroyce Volzke opened Volzke Funeral Home as a family owned and operated funeral home to serve Seward and the surrounding communities.

York County Aging Services provides a variety of services that are available to York County. These services include: Information & Referral, System Advocacy, Volunteer Opportunities, Local Government Offices. This agency serves older adults that are 60 years old and older. York General Home Health offers a broad range of services that support clients in their own home.  It can serve as an alternative to hospitalization or nursing home placement. Medicare coverage is available to individuals certified by their physicians as home bound and in need of skilled services.

Medicare definition of home-bound:

The individual can leave his/her home only for short periods of time and only for medical appointments, special occasions, or religious services.
Great effort is required for the individual to leave the home.
The individual needs assistance to walk with a cane, walker, or wheelchair.
Individuals are not considered homebound if they can effortlessly walk or drive a vehicle.

The Place is a USDA Rural Development subsidized housing facility for low- to moderate-income elderly or handicapped. This 20-unit facility has 19 large, one-bedroom apartments and one handicapped-accessible unit. All kitchen appliances are furnished. Each apartment also has a large pantry and closet storage. All units have interior entrances to the apartment. The Place also has two on-site, coin-operated laundry facilities. The campus beauty shop is located in this building.

Congregate meals, recreation and socialization.

York Leisure Home is a HUD Apartment. HUD residents usually pay 30% of their gross income for rent. The rent amount, less approved HUD deductions such as medical and child care expenses, and other allowances, includes a utility allowance. HUD Residents also may choose to pay what is known as flat rent. The HACC works with applicants to determine which rent arrangement is best for them. York Leisure Home is a senior low income housing apartment subsidized by the federal governments HUD (Housing and Urban Development Division).
