What is the Every Woman Matters (EWM) Diagnostic Program?
Diagnostic means there may be a problem (such as a breast lump or an abnormal Pap test) that needs to be diagnosed or followed up on. The EWM Diagnostic Program can pay for the following services for women who are eligible in order to diagnose breast or cervical cancer:
Breast Diagnostic Services:
• Breast ultrasound
• Diagnostic mammograms
• Surgical consultations
• Breast biopsies
Cervical Diagnostic Services:
• Colposcopies
• Consultations
Program is for women who are 18-74 years old, US Citizen or permanent resident, and meets income guidelines. Client may have other insurance coverage. Client must need services to diagnose breast or cervical cancer.
You may enroll right away by contacting a contracted provider, making an appointment, and enrolling at the contracted provider's office.
What is the Every Woman Matters (EWM) screening program?
Screening means regular testing (such as a mammogram or Pap test) to see if a person is healthy or sick.

Free for ANY person in need, The Food Bank of Lincoln cooperates with member agencies in Southeast Nebraska to sponsor mobile Food distributions at local sites. Each site includes distribution of some USDA product, so participants must sign the standard income self-verification sheet, but no other documentation is required. Participants are encouraged to bring their own bags and carts if possible.

The 2020 Lincoln Fresh season has begun! We’re pleased to announce the addition of two new locations: Northeast YMCA, 2601 North 70th Street and Mercy Western Manor Apartments, 2200 West Q Street in Lincoln. We have discontinued stops at 48th & Madison and Oak Lake Park.
In 2019, the Lincoln Fresh Mobile Distribution Truck made 269 stops, distributing 108,647 pounds of fresh fruit and produce to 12,985 visitors. We’ll look forward to seeing you at our stops as we continue to work to make Lincoln the healthiest community in the nation.

Foodnet is a group of volunteers from many different churches and other non-profit organizations trying to stop the waste of food and provide for those in need. We collect food from donors for distribution at our sites around the Lincoln area each day. We provide mostly perishable foods such as fruits, vegetables, dairy products, bread, etc. These are items not usually found at a dry goods food pantry, but are still in demand.
In the Four Corners District, there are sites in Milford and Seward.
Foodnet distributions sites are continuing to serve those in need in Lincoln, Crete, Denton, Milford, and Seward. Each site is taking precautions to handle food in the safest way possible. No Foodnet Site has been made aware of any volunteer or patron being diagnosed or quarantined at this time. Each Foodnet site will be adjusting their routines (which may include the use of drive-up distribution) and we appreciate your patience. We couldn’t do this without the support of the businesses and institutions that generously donate to us. The Foodnet volunteers are also vital to our organization throughout each day and we thank them for their important role at this time.
During COVID-19, the Milford distribution site has closed to distributions. Please contact FoodNet, Inc. to learn about how they are adapting.
