Four Corners Health Department COVID-19 Weekend Update

On Friday, May 7, the Four Corners Risk Dial was reset at 1.45 for the upcoming week. This is the same level as the prior week, and the dial is set in the Yellow: Moderate COVID-19 Risk Level. Public health recommendations and the COVID-19 dashboard are posted on our website at www.fourcorners.ne.gov.

Over the last 2 days (May 6-7), there were 14 new cases of COVID-19 reported in the District:
• York County had 10 new cases for 1,755 total cases.
• Seward County had 2 new cases to reach 1,996 cases total.
• Butler County had 1 new case for 856 total.
• Polk County added 1 new case for 584 total cases.

As of May 7, the total cumulative number of COVID-19 cases in the Four Corners District is 5,191. There were 50 new cases in the previous 14 days, with 31 of those cases recorded in the past 7 days.

Over the prior 7 days (May 1-7), the totals for each county are as follows:
• Butler County—3
• Polk County—1
• Seward County—6
• York County–21
