May 28, 2021—Four Corners Health Department COVID-19 Weekend Update

Four Corners Health Department will be holding 2 upcoming walk-in clinics in the next week.  A walk-in clinic will be held with Pfizer (ages 12+) and Johnson & Johnson (18+) vaccines on Tuesday, June 1.  A walk-in clinic with Moderna vaccine (for ages 18+) will be held on Thursday June 3rd.  Both clinics will be held at:

  • The Four Corners Health Department at 2101 N. Lincoln Ave in York
  • From 12-4PM
  • There is NO CHARGE for the vaccine.

A community vaccine clinic offering Pfizer (ages 12+) and Johnson & Johnson (18+) will be held at Harrison Park in York on Thursday June 3rd.  Come between 4 and 8 pm to get your vaccine and a hot dog (served from 4-6:30)!  Spanish interpreters will also be present.  More information at https://fourcorners.ne.gov/programs-services-2/coronavirus-covid-19-information/covid-19-vaccine-information/ .

On Friday, May 28, the Four Corners Risk Dial was reset at 0.64 in the GREEN for the upcoming week.  This is a decrease from the prior week 0.73, and the dial is in the Green: Low Risk Low Risk of COVID-19 Spread.  Public health recommendations and the COVID-19 dashboard are posted on our website at www.fourcorners.ne.gov.   Recommendations for fully-vaccinated people from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are listed at https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/fully-vaccinated.html .  Healthcare settings, like hospitals and long-term care facilities have additional requirements that can differ from community settings, including the required wearing of face-coverings: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/hcp/infection-control-after-vaccination.html .

Over the last 3 days (May 26-28), there were 2 new cases of COVID-19 reported in the District:

  • York County had 1 new case for 1,775 total cases.
  • Seward County had 1 new case, a total of 2,025 cases.
  • Butler County had no new cases for 856 total.
  • Polk County added no new cases for 585 total cases.

As of May 28, the total cumulative number of COVID-19 cases in the Four Corners District is 5,241. There were 17 new cases in the previous 11 days, with 4 of those cases recorded in the past 7 days.

Over the prior 7 days (May 22-28), the totals for each county are as follows:

  • York County–2
