May 11, 2021—Four Corners Health Department COVID-19 Tuesday Update

Four Corners Health Department is excited to announce that we will be holding 2 upcoming walk-in clinics next week.  On Tuesday, May 18th we will offer the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, and on Thursday, May 20th we will offer the Moderna vaccine to anyone who is eligible.  Both clinics will be held at:

  • The Four Corners Health Department at 2101 N. Lincoln Ave in York
  • From 12-4PM
  • No appointments are necessary, but If you would like to secure a time, and view vaccination paperwork ahead of time, visit www.fourcorners.ne.gov or call the office for assistance at 402-362-2621.

Over the last 4 days (May 8-11), there were 7 new cases of COVID-19 reported in the District:

  • York County had 5 new cases for 1,760 total cases.
  • Seward County had 2 new cases to reach 1,998 cases total.
  • Butler County had no new cases for 856 total.
  • Polk County added no new cases for 585 total cases.

As of May 11, the total cumulative number of COVID-19 cases in the Four Corners District is 5,199. There were 48 new cases in the previous 14 days, with 27 of those cases recorded in the past 7 days.

An additional death from April 2021 has been confirmed as due to COVID-19.  A Seward County woman in her 60’s, who was suffering from COVID, died at home.  This brings the District’s total number of COVID-19 related deaths to 76.  There have been 33 COVID-19 related deaths in Seward County, 18 in Polk County, 13 in York County, and 12 in Butler County.

Did you know that more than 1 out of every 3 people in Four Corners have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19? While this is a number to celebrate, we still encourage everyone to get vaccinated against COVID-19. We also encourage you to talk to your support network if you are hesitant about getting vaccinated.
