Four Corners Health Department COVID-19 Update and Reporting Another Death

The District has experienced another COVID-19 related death with the recent loss of a Seward County woman in her 90’s.  This brings the District’s total COVID-19 related deaths to 73:  Seward County reaches 30, Polk County totals 18, York County has 13 and Butler County 12.

In the past 2 days (March 23-24), there were 15 new cases of COVID-19 reported in the District:

  • Seward County added 12 new cases for 1,902 cases total.
  • York County had 2 new cases for a total of 1,696.
  • Butler County increased by 2 cases to a total of 847.
  • Polk County remains at 577 total cases.

As of March 24, the total cumulative number of COVID-19 cases in the Four Corners District is 5,019.  There were 78 new cases in the previous 14 days, with 50 of those cases recorded in the past 7 days.
