July 20, 2021—Four Corners Health Department COVID-19 Tuesday Update

Four Corners Health Department will be holding SEVERAL upcoming walk-in clinics in the next week.  A walk-in clinic with Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines (for ages 18+) will be held on Thursday July 22th.   A walk-in clinic will be held with Pfizer (ages 12+) and Johnson & Johnson (18+) vaccines on Tuesday, July 27th.  Both clinics will be held at:

  • The Four Corners Health Department at 2101 N. Lincoln Ave in York
  • From 12-4PM
  • There is NO CHARGE for the vaccine.

In addition, Four Corners will be at the Polk County Fair this week!  Come see us at the fair for a vaccine!  We will be offering Pfizer (ages 12+) and Johnson & Johnson (ages 18+) COVID-19 vaccines:

  • On Thursday July 22 from 5-7 pm
  • At the Four Corners booth at the Polk County Fairgrounds
  • There is NO CHARGE for the vaccine.

It saddens our Department to report that there have been 3 COVID-associated deaths in the last month, all in York County residents:

  • A man in his 80s
  • A woman in her 30s
  • A woman in her 80s

These 3 latest deaths are associated with a variant strain of COVID-19.  This brings the District total COVID-19 related deaths to 80.  York County has had 16 total, Seward County 34, Polk County 19, and Butler County 12.

In the last 4 days (July 17-20), there were 5 new cases of COVID-19 reported in the District:

  • Seward County had 3 new cases for a total of 2,049 cases.
  • Butler County had 1 new case for 864 total.
  • Polk County added 1 new case for 591 total cases
  • York County had no new cases for 1,845 total cases.

As of July 20, the total cumulative number of COVID-19 cases in the Four Corners District is 5,349. There were 19 new cases in the previous 14 days, with 8 of those cases recorded in the past 7 days.
