Youth Mental Health First Aid teaches people how to recognize signs of mental health or substance use challenges in youth ages 12-18 and older, how to offer and provide initial help, and how to guide a person toward appropriate care if necessary. Topics covered include anxiety, depression, psychosis, and addictions.
This training is great for teachers, school staff, coaches, camp counselors, youth group leaders, parents, and adults who work with youth.
There is a $10 fee for this workshop. You may pay by credit card through the registration link (additional fees may apply), or by cash or check (payable to Four Corners Health Department) at the door on the day of workshop.
