Spirit of Giving
This event provides a no-cost shopping experience for kids who have experienced the death of a primary caregiver. During this event, kids can select and wrap a gift for their surviving caregiver and participate in a craft project. While the kids are shopping and participating in activities, caregivers will be offered guided meditation and helpful information on self-care during the holiday season. This also allows caregivers to connect with others who are going through similar experiences.
Spirit of Giving is suitable for school-aged children through teens who have attended a support group at Mourning Hope. Families are encouraged to register by November 27
