Crisis Planning for Youth at Risk for Suicide & Non-Suicidal Self Injury
Thursday, February 23, 2023; 12 – 1 p.m.
This Lunch & Learn session offered virtually by Four Corners Health Department provides evidence-informed practices that licensed mental health clinicians and school counselors can utilize in responding to youth who present themselves at risk for suicide and non-suicidal self-injurious behaviors (NSSI). A variety of screening/assessment instruments and safety plans will be reviewed. In addition, case studies will be presented, as well as case reviews will be invited. Donald P. Belau, Ph.D. LIMHP #238 will be leading this session. 1.0 hours of continuing education will be provided for licensed mental health clinicians. A certificate of attendance will be available for all others. Preregistration is suggested for those requesting CEU credit.
