Four Corners Update on COVID-19 Related Deaths

Four Corners extends our sympathy to the many families who have lost loved ones during this pandemic.  This week, the Department received many notifications of local deaths occurring between the middle of November and first week of December 2020, which were indicated as being COVID-19 related.  In total today, there are 12 additional deaths to report:

  • A Butler County man in his 70’s, who had been hospitalized
  • A Butler County man in his 50’s, who had been hospitalized
  • A Polk County man in his 90’s, who was under medical care
  • A Polk County woman in her 80’s, who was under medical care
  • A Seward County man in his 80’s, who was hospitalized
  • A Seward County woman in her 80’s, who was hospitalized
  • A Seward County man in his 80’s, who was under medical care
  • A Seward County man in his 40’s, who was hospitalized
  • A Seward County woman in her 50’s, who was hospitalized
  • A Seward County woman in her 60’s, who was hospitalized
  • A York County woman in her 70’s, who was hospitalized; and
  • A York County woman in her 80’s, who was under medical care.

With this information, each county in the district adds to their cumulative totals of COVID-19 related deaths.  The county totals now stand at:

  • Butler—8
  • Polk—15
  • Seward—15
  • York—9
  • District total—47
