Topic: Coping with Traumatic Stress Part I
This is the first of two separate webinars that is being presented by Donald P. Belau, Ph.D. LIPC#238 that will be providing information for law enforcement, first responders, and mental health providers with a special emphasis provided for law enforcement that may provide valuable information in coping with the traumatic stress that they may experience in these turbulent times. Coping with Traumatic Stress—Part II
This is the second of two separate webinars presented by Donald P. Belau, Ph.D. LIPC#238 that provides information for law enforcement, first responders, and mental health providers focuses upon building the resiliency of the individual, and organizations in coping with traumatic stress and secondary stress. Emphasis is placed upon coping with the current pandemic from a the family perspective as well. One hour of continuing education will be offered for Nebraska Licensed Mental Health Providers who preregister. Register for Part 2 Here.
These two sessions build upon each other; attendance at both sessions is encouraged. It is acceptable to attend only one session. CEU’s will be provided for only the session(s) attended.

Living Well with Chronic Disease Workshop
What is Living Well? Living Well is a self-management workshop facilitated by trained leaders that help you take control of your health by using small steps toward positive changes and healthier living.
Workshops are interactive and not just lectures! Groups of 8 to 15 individuals take part in this workshop to share their experiences and provide support to each other.
You WILL benefit from Living Well if you have or are caring for someone with diabetes.
People who have attended the workshops have shown:
- More energy
- Improved overall health
- Health care cost savings
- Slower progression of chronic conditions
What you will learn: Each session gives you the tools you need to take control of your ongoing health conditions. It’s offered in many languages and session topics covered include:

- Action Planning

- Problem Solving
Classes are 2 to 2 and a half hours one time each week for 6 weeks.
