April 5, 2021—Four Corners Health Department COVID-19 Update
Starting this week, all Four Corners residents age 18+ are eligible for COVID-19 vaccination at the District’s designated vaccination sites. As of Monday, April 5, there are still open slots available for vaccines this week, and new time slots will be added frequently for upcoming weeks. A vaccine can be scheduled by going online to vaccinate.ne.gov and registering to receive a vaccine. After registering it is important to check your email often because your invitation to schedule a vaccine will be sent to you over email. In the past 3 days (April 3-5), there were only 4 new cases of COVID-19 reported in the District:
- Seward County had 3 new cases to reach 1,930 cases total.
- York County adds 1 new case for a total of 1,709 cases.
- Butler County remains at a total of 851.
- Polk County remains at 581 total cases.
As of April 5, the total cumulative number of COVID-19 cases in the Four Corners District is 5,071. There were 64 new cases in the previous 14 days, with 16 of those cases recorded in the past 7 days.
