Four Corners Health Department COVID-19 Monday Update
Over the weekend (April 24-26), there were 5 new cases of COVID-19 reported in the District:
• Seward County had 3 new cases to reach 1,983 cases total.
• York County had 2 new cases for 1,731 total cases.
• Polk County added no new cases for 582 total cases.
• Butler County had no new cases for 851 total.
As of April 26, the total cumulative number of COVID-19 cases in the Four Corners District is 5,148. There were 56 new cases in the previous 14 days, with 22 of those cases recorded in the past 7 days.
Please join us for our County Community Briefings taking place via Zoom on Thursday, April 29, 2021. These briefings provide important local COVID-19 updates, and you will hear from community leaders about how they are addressing issues during the pandemic. The briefing schedule is York County (8:30 am), Polk County (10 am), Seward County (1 pm) and Butler County (2:30 pm). All Four Corners residents age 18+ are eligible for COVID-19 vaccination at the District’s designated vaccination sites. Appointments to schedule a vaccine locally are being added each week on the state’s vaccine registration system at vaccinate.ne.gov . After registering on the site, it is important to check your email often because your invitation to schedule a vaccine will be sent to you over email. In addition, certain pharmacies in Polk and York Counties are offering vaccines. If you have any questions about this process, please call Four Corners at 402-362-2621.
