Four Corners Health Department COVID-19 Weekend Update

On Friday, April 23, the Four Corners Risk Dial was reset at a slightly lower 1.61 for the upcoming week. This is a slight decrease from the prior week’s 1.68, and the dial is set in the Yellow: Moderate COVID-19 Risk Level. Public health recommendations and the COVID-19 dashboard are posted on our website at www.fourcorners.ne.gov.

In the past 2 days (April 22-23), there were 7 new cases of COVID-19 reported in the District:
York County had 5 new cases for 1,729 total cases.
Seward County had 1 new case to reach 1,980 cases total.
Polk County added 1 new case for 582 total cases.
Butler County had no new cases for 851 total.

As of April 23, the total cumulative number of COVID-19 cases in the Four Corners District is 5,142. There were 64 new cases in the previous 14 days, with 23 of those cases recorded in the past 7 days.

Over the prior 7 days (April 17 – 23), the totals for each county are as follows:

All Four Corners residents age 18+ are eligible for COVID-19 vaccination at the District’s designated vaccination sites. Appointments to schedule a vaccine locally are being added each week on the state’s vaccine registration system at vaccinate.ne.gov . After registering on the site, it is important to check your email often because your invitation to schedule a vaccine will be sent to you over email. In addition, certain pharmacies in Polk and York Counties are offering vaccines. If you have any questions about this process, please call Four Corners at 402-362-2621.
