2.17.2022 Update on COVID-19 Numbers

Four Corners Health Department is continuing to monitor COVID-19 cases very closely and has seen a significant decline recently in the number of new cases. Here’s an update on case numbers.

The last 7 days (February 9- February 15) saw a total of 81 cases in the District. The 7-day case total for each county is as follows:

  • Butler County— 8 (7 day case rate/100,000 population = 99)
  • Polk County— 18 (7 day case rate/100,000 population = 341)
  • Seward County— 22 (7 day case rate/100,000 population = 127)
  • York County— 33 (7 day case rate/100,000 population = 240)

Five deaths from December 2021 and January 2022 from have been determined to be COVID-19 related. This includes 3 from Butler County and 2 from York County. This brings the total number of COVID-19 related deaths to 109 for the Four Corners District.  Seward County has had 42 total COVID-19 related deaths, Polk County 26, York County 23, and Butler 18.

Influenza season has also arrived, and we are seeing cases of influenza A and B in the area. One death related to Influenza B has been reported so far this season, in January 2022.

COVID vaccine clinics are held weekly at Four Corners on 2101 N. Lincoln Avenue in York on Friday from 12PM to 4PM. These clinics are held at Four Corners on 2101 N. Lincoln Avenue in York. All three vaccines and boosters (Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson) are offered at each clinic, including Pfizer vaccine for children ages 5 and over. There is no charge for the vaccine.  Registration at www.fourcorners.ne.gov  is appreciated. Please remember to bring your vaccine card.
